I have to also say my preschooler can't walk more than half a mile, or about 4 city blocks before it's stroller time. so "treking through the jungle, hiking old lava flows, and enjoying the company of the local population." isn't realistic, in my experience!

And digging pieces of lava out of knees after a good faceplant? Great fun.
