We used Magical Express for our trip in December and it worked out great! I was nervous as well.. last trip we used a car service. No problems at all, they are very organized at the airport and we were off to our resort in no time. I believe there are typically 2-3 stops. We received our luggage in about 2 hours.
We tried Spoodles on the boardwalk and LOVED it, one of our favorite restaurants! Our other 2 favorites were Le Cellier ( to bad you can't get reservations) and O'Hanas.
Have a great trip- I love the boardwalk area!

We used the Magical Express about a year ago. On the way down, they misplaced one bag of luggage (with our daughters diapers and all our sons's clothes in it). We arrived late afternoon. We went to the Magic Kingdom, figuring the bags would be there when we got back. It was a little bit of a hassle getting it straighened out. I called the front desk, got bounced around once or twice, and finally someone said they would contact the ariline. They were able to track down the bag overnight and had it ready for us first thing in the morning.
On the way home, all of our luggage did not make our flight, even though we checked in for the flight at Animal Kingdom Lodge about 5 hours before flight time.
The only thing that bothered me was that Disney personnel tried pawning the blame on the airline. Based on how quickly the bag arrived at the hotel (I originally called at 11 pm and they left a voice message for us at 12:30 am that the bag was there),it was obvious that the bag was on Disney property.
