disney accommodations

I am looking for an upscale rental for a few days in July close to WDW. I need at least 4 bedrooms/baths. I know there are lots of condo and home communities with rental properties -- does anyone have any information/experience with them?

I don't have a lot of info, but I do know that Disney's Treehouse villas can accomidate you, otherwise I am not familiar with any other place with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths without you actually renting two units.

wdwinfo.com

pick something around Lake Buena Vista

Disney Tree Houses are nice there for me in the past

or Celebration for best location/experience.

always pay with cc careful with time share scammers

insuremytrip.com always wise.

You might look into the on-property Boardwalk villas as well..a lot more convenient for the park itself

We rented a house from American Vacation Homes in 2005. 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a pool in the backyard, and more space than we could use, in a gated community. It was a good experience. It was off-property, of course, but only about a 10 minute drive to WDW.

There are a lot of vacation home rentals in that area. We rented one through the Vacation Store in '09, and were quite pleased. We had four bedrooms and 2 and a half baths, and paid $109 a night. You might not do quite that well, since I think that they are a little less desperate for business these days, but it can still be pretty cheap.

I would go on www.disboards.com and ask over there for specifics. I believe that virtually all of these rental companies are basically reputable, but some of them do engage in optimism regarding the distance to Disney.
