Disney World Home Away From Home Resorts... Which one is the BEST?
I am planning a trip to Disney for my parents 70th birthday. We will be traveling with my 1.5 yr old and the rest of my siblings in their 30s.
We are having a very hard time deciding which home away from hojme resprt would be the best. Any suggestions??? We want a nice pool, a big villa and a close proximity to the parks. They all look so great it is hard to choose.

I got fed up with the hotels in Orlando and finally bought a villa 10 mins from the Disney parks as my home from home. If you are interested check out www.jgvillas.com

I've stayed in the Boardwalk Villas, Old Key West and seen the Wilderness Lodge Villas. They are all nice but I like OKW best. They are the biggest and have the nicest grounds IMO. That being said, they are furthest from the parks. If that's your priority go with Boardwalk or Beach Club if you plan on being at Epcot alot or Wilderness Lodge if you think you'll be at MK the most. They are all really nice so you can't go wrong.

When we went to Orlando with another family last year, we rented a villa through www.vrbo.com. We got a 4 bdrm villa with it's own pool and jacuzzi, full kitchen, fully furnished with all linens, towels etc and was in a development 5 minutes from the parks. Check out the website...they have a huge selection of homes in various sizes and locations! BTW, vrbo stands for vacation rentals by owner so there's no middle-man...we found it to be a totally positive experience.
