Discovery Cove - Package Deals

I saw a few hotels had package deals where you could do the Discovery Cove (swim with dolphins) and stay at the hotel for a certain price. We were considering the Sheraton package for $556. Has anyone done this, or any other recommendations? We are going to Orlando for 3 days and then on to Vero Beach for 7 days in August.

Thanks so much.

I would be interested to hear if you find out any info on this package, it's sounds exactly like something we would like to try! Good luck.....

I don't know about the packages. But we really really enjoyed our Discovery Cove experience last November.

Check out www.themeparks.com for a message board, dedicated to Discovery Cove and SeaWorld...

We went last August & booked our Discovery Cove visit directly with them - call AS FAR AHEAD as you can. We found a great deal on lodging thru go2orlando.com & hotelkingdom.com Your DC admission will also cover a 7-day pass to Sea World. When I called DC last year, they had no more dolphin swim packages, but did have non-dolphin swim tickets available - significantly less cost, AND still includes everything higher priced ticket does except dolphin swim. We had a great time!

To clarify above messages - Discovery cove had no more dolphin swims available on dates we were going to be in orlando. The park is limited to 1000 visitors per day and admission is by reservation only. there are only about 500 or 600 dolphin swim slots available per day - so there is usually non-dolphin-swim admission available. We spent lots of time feeding the birds in the aviary and in the stingray pool.
