Discounted Disney World Tickets
Is there any such thing? Is there a reliable source other than the park itself?
There are 4 adults and one child for 7 days which gets pretty pricey. Thought someone out there might have a suggestion.

Not sure when you are going to Disney World and if you plan to stay onsite, but Disney has a special going on right now for travel in January to mid-February. If you book a room and buy basic park tickets, they give you the park hopping feature and entry into the Water Parks for free. For information, go to disneyworld.com and click on "special offers", or you can call Disney and ask about the offer with free hoppers.
Go to disboards.com for lots of information on Disney. Almost any question you have can be answered on that forum.

www.ticketmania.com, www.mapleleaftickets.com, and www.undercovertourist.com all offer small but legitimate discounts that do add up. The cost will be roughly the same at any of these sites so check for deals on their shipping costs.
We used www.buildabettermousetrip.com to plan our last trip and they saved us money by developing a good touring plan for us that eliminated park hopping. That saved us about $50 per ticket. They also did the math to see whether the "Water Park Fun and More" option was a good value for us - it just depends on which features you're going to use.

I guess I am the only one who suffers from ADD while attempting to use disboards. All those pulsating avatars, vacation photos and countdown clocks drive me crazy. And it takes forever to find info because each page contains such little information (again because of the pulsating avatars, vacation photos and countdown clocks)

Are you registered at the disboards? If not, register then go to "User CP" towards the top left. You will see this on the right:
Control Panel
Settings & Options
Edit Signature
Edit Email & Password
Edit Profile
Edit Options
Edit Avatar
Click on Edit Options. Scroll down and you will see a section called "Thread display options. Just unclick the boxes that say to show avatars, signatures, etc.
