Discount books for Vegas?

Looking for a Christmas present for my 22 year old who is celebrating New Year's in Las Vegas. Is anyone aware of any coupon books (2 for 1), like an Entertainment book for restaurants in Vegas? Or any other gift/travel suggestions? Thanks!

I think a 22 year old who is celebrating in Vegas probably won't use any coupon book..
The Palms Casino is a very hip place for kids his age and they have some great clubs and maybe a gift certificate to the restaurant, Little Buddha for sushi or some of the great nightclubs..Ghost Bar is a lot of fun..You will be well loved for a gift from the Palms!
Also, the Voodoo lounge at the top of the Rio is a great place to have drinks too!

There is a Las Vegas edition of the Entertainment book, but most of the restaurants are off-strip and mediocre. I have a couple of better ideas for you to consider.

One is restaurant.com. Under this program you purchase $25 gift certficates at a discount. There are several Strip restaurants available and the aforementioned Little Buddha is included as well. A $25 certificate retails for $10, but there are frequent sales. Currently there is a 60% off sale through the end of the month. Enter THANKS at checkout and recalculate. Some recommended restaurants include Giorgio Cafe @ Mandalay Place (skywalk between Mandalay Bay and Luxor), Border Grill @ Mandalay Bay, Andre's @ Monte Carlo and Pampas Churrascaria on Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood. Cafe Ba Ba Reeba @ Fashion Show mall offers tapas, but sells out early each month so you would have to pay full price.

A second option for them is tix4tonight which offers same day show tickets at a discount, frequently 50% for the Grade B shows. They now have a new service called dinner4tonight - you pay a $3 fee and receive 50% of the cost off an entree at numerous Strip restaurants. The list changes daily. Locations include Fashion Show Mall, Hawaiian Marketplace and adjacent to the Riviera. Buffets are also offered at $2 each.
http://www.tix4tonight.com/ Click on Sneak Peak over the next several days to get a feel for a few of the restaurants offered. There is also a printable coupon on the website which reduces the service on the shows by 1/2.

There are coupon books availible once you get to town. I'll give you a link to line pass at the 1/2 price ticket booth which will save your child significant time standing in line. Please keep it to yourself as if everyone used it the lines would just be as long as the regular line

other coupons on the same website:

Tix4tonight has some 25% off tickets for first run shows like Le Reve and others, just have to be there at the right time, but it will be busy over New Years. Some tix are consolidated meaning some shows have guaranteed seats through TIX, you just need to be first in line.

Starbucks giftcard might be nice for a 22 yr old going to Las Vegas, especially if they have Starbucks at home and would use it afterwards.

VegasResource.com gathers coupons from all over town, you create a shopping cart and they mail you whatever you choose such as 2 for 1 show coupons, Arcade/rollercoaster coupons etc. You pay a premium for shipping and handling but it can be worth it for the time it saves you standing on line or searching for coupons once you're in Las Vegas. You could choose restaurants or attractions that are closer to their hotel.

Westie, thanks for the heads up on Restaurant.com. I just found a ton of places I would like to eat in Vegas for a fraction of the price. Cool! Even Rosemary's is an option.
