Dinner on Christmas Day in downtown Chicago

We will be staying in the Loop area on Christmas Day and need recommendations for dinner. We prefer menu, not brunch or buffet....seafood, steaks, American type food. Price wise under $35.00 for entrees, if possible! We were thinking Ruth's Chris, but ate there our last visit, so thought perhaps we would try another restaurant. Any suggestions. Thanks

Go to Open Table and put in location, time and date. Available restaurants will pop up in a list.
For seafood, see if Shaw's Crab House is open, a few blocks behind the Wrigley Building so not far from The Loop.

The Tribune printed a story the other day about restaurants open on Christmas. http://www.chicagotribune.com/featur...3768713.column

We went to an old stand by....Ruth's Chris . We always have good service and food preparation is never a disappointment to us. We had looked at various restaurants that were open, but many were brunches which we did not want to eat. Our son loves the filet, and since we were visiting him we went with familiarity. Next time we visit on Christmas Day we will go elsewhere for variety! Way to many restaurants to repeat!
