Dinner at Princeville resort?
My FI and I will be playing golf at Princeville in September, and wanted to plan a dinner at Princeville where we can enjoy the sunset. I've looked at Cafe Hanelei, or the lounge in Princeville for a lighter meal. Any other recommendations?
thanks

One of my fondest memories is a few pieces of sushi and a glass of chardonnay out on the veranda, and then moving into the livingroom to share a burger and california roll and some traditional hula. Sometimes simple overpriced things are better than a formal dinner........get a sofa! One of my regrets was the Seafood Buffet although many many love it. Just not my style or preference. Have fun!

jess,
We had an excellent dinner at Cafe Hanalei last week. We sat on the terrace and the views/sunset/moon were spectacular. We went for the views and the atmosphere and were very happy that the food was so good as well.

The hotel also has La Cascata -- a quasi-Italian-Mediterranean restaurant which has bay/ocean views. If you get their when they open the doors, you can usually get a window table, or at least one which is _close_ to the windows. Much as we love the views from Cafe Hanalei, we prefer the dinner offerings and service at La Cascata.
You can view sample menus from all their dining options, here:
