Yank Sing, 2 locations - 49 Stevenson Street and Rincon Center, more expensive than the Chinatown places though everything is the very best.

I like the city's oldest, the Hang Ah Tearoom. Another one filled with atmosphere is Gold Mountain.

Hands down best is Ton Kiang on Geary. Yank Sing is also good. I don't care for Yet Wah.

Ton Kiang is way out on the avenues, not close to the downtown. But it is worth the trip, or go there after walking along the beach at the end of Geary Blvd.
