Did Cheeseburger in Paradise close
in Lahaina? I just looked on their site and they show NO locations in Hawaii? Hmmm

It is definitely still open becuz we just ate at the Lahaina one in April.

I work for Cheeseburger in Paradise. The chain that Jimmy Buffet owns in the United States is a different company than the restaurants in Hawaii. That's why Hawaii was not listed as a location on the website. Jimmy actually sued the owners of the CIP in Hawaii for using his name-- they're allowed to keep their 2 stores, but are not allowed to open any more.

I remember a Cheeseburger in Paradise in Honolulu, Lahaina and Wailea. That's three. Which one of those has closed?

All 3 restaurants are stil open. The 1 in Wailea has a diffeent name - Cheeseburgers, MaiTais & Rock & Roll - or something like that.

The one in Lahaina is still there. I was there last week!

I love CIP! One of my good friends is a managing partner with them and my husband did some work for the JVP in South Florida.
