Do I have photos? Well... no. But it seems I bump into muffin (or someone who looks a lot like her) almost everywhere I go. You know, dressed to the nines, six inch heels, and always black leather. Errr.... maybe I have seen her in red. ;-)

Muffy,
How are you darling? How dreadful it must be to bare one's wares in the airport. I have never had such exposure nor embarrassment. I strongly suggest that you scour the offerings of your local Tumi store - this is the time of year that you will find significant savings.
Buti has created something with you in mind entirely:

However, this is my fave:

They are quite affordable, indeed! Do let us know what you've purchased and post a long-term owner's report of durability & ease of use.

LOL!!
" because paint does have a tacky state."
Oh darlin, there are SO many tacky states! where to begin ? LOL
This has me a bit worried, my daughter just came back from Europe.. She bought a set of Pink luggage for this trip.
The good news:
She saw it immediately and no one picked it up , mistaking it for being theirs.
The bad news:
She has Pink lugggage

Muffin, why don't you hire a Henry Winkler "The Fonz" look-a-like to walk thru the airport with you and have him say "Heeeeyyy".... and then people will mistake you for Pinky Tuscadero! Be sure to be dressed in pink to match your luggage.
No one will know for sure, but you (and, well, the Fonz look-a-like)!

Faina, I am currently in luggage therapy, at least I think I am, as my therapist says I carry around too much baggage from the past. I always thought he was speaking figuratively, but now I'm not so sure. :-?
What a fabulous idea, BuffaloGirl!! I have always had a mental picture of all Fodorites, and here's how I picture our Muffin. Remember Pinky's little sister, Leather Tuscadero? I think our Muffin looks like a combination of Pinky and Leather Tuscadero, only Muffin has a lot more style and class. <smooch>
