Looking for suggestions for a destinations to meet for a girls reunion between Chicago and NewYork. We are looking for a place that would an one or two hour flight for all of us. We are planning to meet for 3 nights at the end of April. Suggestions please. Thank you.

Pittsburgh? Not at the top of everyone's wish list, but I think it has a lot to offer.

Do you all have passports? If so Montreal. Or Quebec or Toronto.

I agree with @thursdaysd. Toronto is likely the place you are looking for, Montreal if you want a more raucous nightlife scene. What's important is what you are looking for in this weekend. For example, the contrarian in me says Niagara Falls (flying into Buffalo) or Indianapolis, so you can have your weekend in Columbus, IN (but it's still a 45-minute drive). The latter is one of the most interesting places in the midwest and full of modernist architecture, but it offers relatively little in terms of nightlife. So I guess it really depends on your interests. Canada checks all the boxes for me, but you could also choose Ottawa if you want a different kind of experience.
