I loved the fireplace at our last hotel...the switch to turn it on/off was next to the bed...nice to crawl into bed with it on, then turn it off when it's time to sleep.
I also love giant whirlpool tub, double sinks, waterfall showerhead, yummy smelling toiletries that are replaced every day, cushy robes, thick slippers, soft, fluffy bed linens, separate seating area...I could go on!

Mine isn't a hotel but more like a cottage in Fredericksburg Texas. The room is decorated in a French Country Style with a whirlpool tub for two and a beautiful courtyard which reminds me of New Orleans with a hammock and a huge oak tree! It is Kristen's at the Austin Street Retreat and it is one of the most romantic places I have been with my husband.

My dream hotel room would be a combination of the following hotels: a Peninsula Chicago Hotel room with its amazing bathroom, with the bedroom fitted with a Westin heavenly bed, located on either the Swissotel Chicago Hotel location over looking both the Chicago river and the lake or, on the Mandarin San Francisco Hotel location over looking the magnificent Californian scenery. That would be my dream hotel room.
