December weather in Kaanapali?

December weather in Kaanapali?
I'm going to Maui for the first time next week, and now I'm worried about the weather. Will it be rainy all the time? I really want to go snorkeling, is it going to be too cold or stormy? I'm looking for experienced feedback, not a weather forecast from a book!

Don't worry about the weather! We've stayed in Kaanapali in October (1999)and January (2001)and it was BEAUTIFUL! I had to keep reminding myself that it was JANUARY! It was about 84 every day. We did catch a short shower on the road to Hana and up in Kapalua one day, but they were brief! We snorkeled on both trips too. "Winter" in Hawaii is still Hawaii! Have a great time!
