December weather in Kaanapali?
 

I'm going to Maui for the first time next week, and now I'm worried about the weather. Will it be rainy all the time? I really want to go snorkeling, is it going to be too cold or stormy? I'm looking for experienced feedback, not a weather forecast from a book!<BR>Thanks!

Laurie,<BR>Don't worry about the weather! We've stayed in Kaanapali in October (1999)and January (2001)and it was BEAUTIFUL! I had to keep reminding myself that it was JANUARY! It was about 84 every day. We did catch a short shower on the road to Hana and up in Kapalua one day, but they were brief! We snorkeled on both trips too. "Winter" in Hawaii is still Hawaii! Have a great time!
