Death Valley Restaurants
We are going to be staying at the Furnace Creek Inn and wondered if there are any other restaurants besides the one at the Inn. Can anyone recommend where to have a nice dinner in Death Valley?

We stayed two nights at the Furnace Creek Inn. Our meal there was VERY disappointing in every way. The second night we went down to the "village" nearby and ate at The Wrangler Steak House. Despite the name it was far superior in every way to the meal we had at the Inn. Prices were actually very similar.

we ate at two different restaurants at the furnace creek ranch. niether was anything special but they were good basic meals.
we wanted to check out the furnace creek inn and decided to do breakfast there since it would be the cheapest meal. it was good.

We did exactly what ltt did.... and I would ditto the sentiments.... Honestly, Death Valley is NOT going to have anything better than what's at Furnace Creek Inn. It's in the middle of a freakin' DESERT! Not exactly Palm Springs or a bastion of entertainment, just so you know... So be ready for it...
