Darvy's back
Well folks, I'm trolling this board again. And I need a little re-orientation, if you get my drift.
So, who's opinion counts? And who should I put on 'ignore'? This place has always been quite the "mixed bag" of forums, so give me the skinny.
Is Leon still here? Nina? Faina? Pixie? Patrick? Gotravel? XXXX?
-Darvy, the travel gal

My opinion is the only one that matters here since it is the only correct one. Posters here just love to gang up on me. I don't know why.
The fun days are long gone,Darvy. No sense of humor anymore, so bring it on.

Leon?? No, Darvy, he was run out of here long ago.
I'm still here, with way too much time on my hands (as someone pointed out yesterday). Still sometimes trying to offer helpful comments as to how to make posts more effective and being raked over the coals for doing so.
But watch that word "trolling". Lately someone can post something as simple as "what's a good hotel in New York?" and they'll instantly be accused of being a troll. It's the in thing to do these days I guess.
And if you go to the Europe board, you'll find the pompous ramblings of "m_kingdom". No one seems to know for sure if it is male or female (including m_kingdom, methinks). We do know it lives in London and is the best source of hurling insults these days (or maybe just making one hurl).

I miss Leone. I miss "ciao."
But welcome back, Darvy.
There are lots more "sewing bee" postings nowadays, but still some good travel posts.
And there are still some complete idiots.
I'm getting misty eyed jusy thinking about it all.
