Cubs Wrigley Field Parking
Looking for a recommendation on parking for a day Cubs game at Wrigley. We will be driving down from Wisconsin and am considering driving to the Howard Station on the Red line and parking. Any better ideas?

If the day game in question is on a Saturday or Sunday, I would strongly recommend the remote parking at DeVry University at Addison & Western. Its $6 per carload and you get to take a bus which drops you off right at the ballpark.
Only downside is the long wait to get back on the bus at the end of the game.

Cadgirl's advice is good. I live very near DeVry University. It's not even that bad of a walk (assuming you're able-bodied and don't mind walking about a mile and a half or so) if the buses take a really long time.
I just walk to Cubs games, as it's a half-hour walk or so from that area.

The Lakeview neighborhood has street parking restrictions so you will have to park in a designated lot. The closer you are to the ball park the more expensive parking is. In and out parking is even more expensive. Park at DeVry and take the shuttle bus. Parking along the red line is street parking and probably won't be as good an option.

If you know how to get to the woodfield mall in Schaumburg then this is also an option:
you can take the Cubs Roundtripper bus non-stop to Wrigley Field. You can park for FREE at Pace's Northwest Transportation Center (NWTC) in Schaumburg .

The DeVry lot is a great option. Yet another option is parking in that neighborhood (Roscoe Village) and walking. I live in that area and have never done anything other than walk to Wrigley for games. It's just under 2 miles. Now if you have children or folks who can't make the walk, that's another story. Just giving you options. It's easy to park just over a mile or so outside of the field and it's not permit parking. Cabbing from there is another idea, but I'd hop out once you hit gridlock Cubs traffic.
