Crowne Plaza - Broadway
Hello
Making a choice between Crowne Plaza and a couple of other hotels. CP appears to have great location - rate is for Deluxe Floor!! Has anyone stayed here and can anyone tell me what the Deluxe Floor is, as all rooms in the hotel appear to be classified as deluxe!
Cheers!

Jaqui,
I've stayed at the Crowne Plaze twice. I also can't tell you what the Deluxe Floor is but agree that the rooms I've stayed in could be considered "deluxe."
The location is excellent. The hotel restaurant is great and there's a wonderful deli right across the street. I agree on the Fitness Center also.
I most certainly would book there again.

The Crowne Plaza is an excellent choice and I have stayed there several times...the Deluxe Floor is also referred to as a Club accomodations and can include a junior suite. The upgrade typically includes a continental breakfast and evening cocktail hour. as well as enhanced Concierge. You should also consider joining the Priority Club for additional specials and upgrades. There was some lobby remodeling underway during my last stay, so you might ask about that to make sure the hotel is not under construction, but overall you have made a great choice for your stay!

We (a family of four) stayed at the Crowne Plaza in April and loved it. The location can't be beat for proximity to Times Square and the Theater District. It's clean and well run. We had a great view of the city from our window.
I don't know what the Deluxe Floor is--sorry.
My teenage daughter and I went to a show on our own one night and felt very safe walking from the theater back to the hotel.
There's a pool, which many NYC hotels don't have--but we never used it, which must speak to how interesting the city was to our kids.
We didn't breakfast there because the breakfast place was on the expensive side--but there's a Starbucks on the ground floor right next door, where we got coffees and pastries and brought them up to the room. There are also great delis in easy walking distance.
We got a great rate through hoteldiscounts.com--can't remember what it was, though $189 rings a bell.
We would definitely stay there again--go for it!
