Cozumel?

Is Cozumel for divers only? Are the waters for divers?

Hi Claire, I have been to Mexico but didn't visit Cozumel. I know of people that went and didn't dive so it's for everyone. Enjoy!

Hello,
We've been going to Cozumel every year for the last nine years, and there's so much more there to do besides go diving.
Although we are both divers, there are many other activities including easy day trips to other parts of Mexico via the 45 minute ferry trip to Playa del Carmen on the mainland.
The isalnd itself only has one main town of San Miguel, and it is so much fun to rent a jeep and go exploring on the island.
There are neat little beach bars/restaurants, and deserted stretches of beach where you can have a private picnic.
There is a beach-front park with great snorkeling, good shopping, excellent restaurants and both family-oriented and sophisticated nightlife.
The people are so welcoming and friendly, and the island is very safe and clean.
I guess you can tell we love it!

There is a Caribbean board in which you could probably get tons of information on Cozumel by just typing in the word in the text search box, or posting this message there.
