Covid 19 & Charleston Restaurants info needed

My husband & I are hoping to travel to Charleston, SC in late November or early December. I am wondering if many restaurants have outside dining or inside with proper distancing between tables. I looked up SNOB, and it appears they do, but I am wondering if many others are now open with guidelines required for Covid.
I do realize that things could change between now and then, but right now, are things going relatively well as pertains to dining?

SC is a mess at the moment (and that is straight from my DGS's mouth who lives in Charleston). Maybe they will finally get the curve down by November. There is lots of outdoor dining--even in November.

Gretchen, could you explain what exactly is the "mess" your grandson refers to?

Noncompliance with distancing and mask wearing. Upswing in Covid. Silly people who can't delay gratification for the good of the economy and the health of their neighbor.

The number of new COVID cases in SC has fallen significantly the last 4 weeks: 1,789 3 weeks ago, 1,567 2 weeks ago, 1,318 last week, 1,016 this week. I can tell you that mask wearing in the Charlotte restaurants we frequent is 100% and I'd be very surprised if that is different in the nicer restaurants in Charleston where there is a mask mandate.

Sorry, should have made clear that the numbers above are average new cases/day. However, the downward trajectory is the point.

And I agree--I am sure masks are being worn in the restaurants. And I guess it what you want to put up with to travel. Being careful and doing the right thing--then there will always be somewhere to go.

Thinking more about this to me the problem is perhaps not being able to do many thing safely that are the draws in Charleston. Restaurants will be as safe as they can make them with distancing, etc. The plantations can probably be visited and certainly the grounds strolled. Shopping downtown maybe not with crowds, etc. But it does also depend on the OP's age/vulnerablity and comfort. And we can hope that by November there will be some lessening.
