Hi Jill!
Yes, a couple times. It's nice for a short stop/picnic/nature walk. Very beautiful & quiet unique.
I recently yanked my best friend out of the city & out to Zion for a visit. We also caught the dunes. She thought southern Utah was the most beautiful place she had ever seen & she had been all over the world.

I've been. Its nice to visit but I wouldn't go out of your way to see. Of our entire Southern Utah trip I'd say it was one of the least memorable stops.
Not that you asked but what I liked most in S Utah: Bryce, Capital Reef, Goblin State park (very surreal), Zion too.
Other boring stuff: Moab and surroundings. (Unless your into mountain biking)
