Cool bar/lounge in Wash DC

My wife and I (early 30s) are coming to DC for the weekend. We were interested in going to nice, trendy, but not loud or obnoxius place for drinks on Saturday night. We are not interested in dance clubs, just a nice, upscale place with fun atmosphere. Any suggestions? We are willing to go anywhere in NW DC or Georgetown. Thanks.

Tabard Inn, on N Street, between 17th and 18th. The Brickskeller, I believe it is on 22nd Street near P Street. I met my wife there. The bar boasts 700 beers.

I would recommend Olives (my favorite) and Zola downtown and Café Milano in Georgetown. I love the Brickskeller, it is a must for a beer connoisseur, but it is very grungy and casual (and definitely NOT trendy).

Zaytinya is fun and trendy, Mi N Yu in Georgetown is fun, as is Blue Gin, also in Georgetown.

For more "traditional," there is the Round Robin in the Willard hotel, the bars at the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, or Nathan's in Georgetown

Love Zaytinya.

You might also consider Felix in Adams Morgan.
