college grad looking to ski/work

I will be a college grad and i am looking to move from the east coast out to Colorado for the ski season. My preference is to live in aspen. I would like to work for the winter and enjoy everything that Colorado skiing has to offer. I would like some advice or info on working, living and skiing in Colorado.

You should try posting on this thread to the Aussie who's currently working in Aspen.

Go to aspensnowmass.com. Scroll to the bottom of the first page and click on "jobs".

Most ski resorts have similar postings on their web pages.

My daughter has a friend who has worked for Vail Resorts since she graduated high school. Works at Keystone in the winter, and at one of their sister resorts in Hawaii in the summer. Sweeeeeeeeeeet!

My brother worked at Aspen after his sophomore year in college 22 years ago and we've been going back for the holidays ever since.

Even then he had to have three jobs to pay his share to stay in a trailer with two other people. I love Aspen but as a working person you may find you have to live in Carbondale or Basalt and commute which isn't alot of fun.

You might find Summit County resorts easier to work, live, and play. Not trying to steer you away from Aspen. Just wanted to point out the logistics.
