Coke Rewards

I am one of the fools who has been collecting the Coke Reward points with hope of "purchasing" one of their lodging items. I am getting close to what I was shooting for and low and behold it is gone. I am looking for any insight about how long Coke will continue to run this promotion and if they intend to "re-load" the selection of prizes ant time soon.

My husband has done the coke rewards and also found it very frustrating. Every time he got close to a certain reward that he was trying for, that reward would no longer be available. What a pain!

Nice to know I am not alone. I suspect this falls in the "no free lunch" catagory.

I thought that having to give your birthdate before registration was unreasonable. I may be wrong, but that is the way I felt.

I had a housemate in college who did the Marlborough rewards - you had to be 21 to claim your rewards, which she wasn't, so she submitted it under my name. A minimum age requirement for cigarette rewards makes sense, but for Coke?

Interestingly enough, even though it has been over 10 years since my housemate sent in those reward points, Marlborough still occasionally sends me some freebee thing, like a bottle opener, waterbottle or some such thing.

One year, my kids won something from Coke or such. The prize was: if you go to Monterey Aquarium, inside of it you can get a free coke.

There must be one unclaimed bottle in Monterey

Tried it, can't even read the numbers inside the caps right. It's one of those "ARGGGGGG!!!" promotions.

My brother and his wife entered a Coke promo in a grocery store and actually won a trip to Australia. I couldn't believe they won it. They used the trip for their honeymoon, and their first daughter's name is Sydney as a result!
