I have a Category None hangover, happy to report. Everybody in Tampa is way too freaked out about this storm which appears to be on a track past Tampa. People gone crazy!!! There is fear and hysteria in the air -- us professionals are waiting for more information and trying to ignore all the craziness until it is necessary to cope.

I'm working on covering the cushions on my antique wrought iron patio furniture. It will be absolutely gorgeous with red canvas cushions (and maybe some tropical accent piping).

I've been up and at 'em since early. I was a good girl and in bed by 11 p.m, and awoke at 5 a.m. feeling great other than a slight headache. I just KNEW I shouldn't have switched from the Pinot Grigio to Merlot. I only had three glasses, but I guess I'm just not used to the red anymore.

I've been sitting here at my desk planning a fall buying trip for the store....to Miami, of all places. We are supposed to leave in two weeks, but between Ivan, who knows what else might start lurking out there, and my hubby's situation, who knows how it will pan out. Gotta be ready anyhow, though.

Glad to hear everyone else is doing fine. Anne, have fun at the chili cook-off! Yum, yum. Tandoori Girl, those chairs sound like they'll be just FABULOUS when you are done!

I know we'll all continue watching Ivan today, as well. Glad to see he's turning a bit away from Florida at the moment. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
