Will I find any (ladies) summer clothes in late August ?

You can find plenty of summer clothes at outlet malls where stores send their past season items. Also, discount stores such as Ross and Filene's Basement will probably have some items.

No, likely not. Remember to apply a liberal amount of suntan lotion to your bare ass should you decide to go outdoors.

I'd say shop from mid-July to end of July. That is when many stores have sales. By August forget it, they have all their fall clothes out by then for back to school children/adult wear.
