Cider Donuts in Cape Cod?

Hello! Just wondering if anyone knows of a place that makes fresh cider donuts? We're staying in Sandwich but will be traveling to Provincetown so we'll stop anywhere. Thanks!

We've reserved our whale watch, will be stopping at Atlantic Spice Co and in Wellfleet for lunch. We just have to decide on a long bike ride. We did one last time past Cranberry bogs and a GREAT burger place. Hopefully we can figure out where that was. Thanks everyone!

I use to live in Michigan and grew up eating donuts at the Franklin Cider Mill. I sure miss them.

As far as I know there is no place on the cape that makes cider donuts. I don't know of a place off Cape either. it would be a good addition to our local economy because every time I've seen a cider mill they are jam packed with customers!

There are quite a number of place off-Cape, but my experience has been that you find cider donuts at orchards - and not at every orchard.

This won't help any with your trip, but if you're ever in the Amherst area or looking for a place to order cider donuts:

They're one of the things we miss about dropping our daughter at school in Amherst!

CAPH52, don't remind me of Atkins Farm again. I miss being able to stop there....

Another good one near Pittsfield is Bartlett's Orchards.

tchoiniere, I wonder how much of their mail order business comes from people who went to college in the area and/or their parents!

I would imagine quite a bit. I only live 40 miles away. May be time for a road trip...

Where are you stopping for lunch in Wellfleet? I recommend the Bookstore Restaurant, which overlooks Mayo Beach. Great food and great scenery.

Perhaps the great burger place you remember is the Land Ho in Orleans...fabulous burgers, beer on tap and lots of pub atmosphere. The bike trail goes through the center of Orleans so this is a convenient stop. For dessert, cross the street and have a go at the Hot Chocolate Sparrow!
