Cape Hatteras Thanksgiving
My wife and I are heading to Kitty Hawk for Thanksgiving week and would appreciate any information regarding what will be open during the off season.Restaurants, attractions, etc.

While it's off season rate-wise, the OBX is still a popular destination at Thanksgiving, as well as being a year round community, so you're going to find plenty open in terms of restaurants, shops, and attractions, especially through T-giving. Some places might have reduced hours or businesses with multiple locations may consolidate for the off season. It's a little harder to say with some of the strictly outdoor tourist stuff (parasailing, dolphin tours, boat rental) so call to find out.
Just curious since you mentioned both....is it Kitty Hawk or Hatteras? They're both the OBX but are 60 odd miles apart.

The main thing I noticed two years ago is that the traffic to and from Richmond was really, really heavy. If you have to be anywhere, assuming you leave on Sunday, leave early or plan to arrive late.
