Christmas Eve/Day in Jersey??
Any suggestions for special events/dining/activities in New Jersey on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Location doesn't matter, since we will be in central NJ.
Our group consists of 2adults and 2 female children, ages 11 and 21...although I guess the 21 y/o is an adult too!
Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks everyone!

If you are Christian, you can go to church Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day and maybe find a concert on Christmas Day.
If you are Jewish or are not religious, you can do what my Jewish friends mostly do, which is go to a movie and a Chinese dinner.
I assume you are staying with someone or have cooking facilities because it may be difficult to find somewhere other than a Chinese/Thai restaurant or a hotel to get dinner, depending on where you will be in Jersey.
You will probably get better answers than this, but this will break the curse of "no replies."

McCarter Theater in Princeton is having performances of The Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve. Also Cape May Stage with An O. Henry Christmas.
Many restaurants will be open for Christmas dinners, just check local papers...they usually advertise a couple weeks prior.

Take the train into NYC. Go to Rockefeller Plaza to see the tree and watch the ice skaters. Check out Lord & Taylor's windows. Check if the Rockettes are doing th Xmas show. Stroll along Fifth avenue. Ride the Staten Island ferry. Or go to the Jersey Shore Asbury Park to Ocean Grove and walk the Boardwalk.
