Choosing Savannah restaurant for anniversary

Hi, gang. Our Savannah anniversary trip is in a few weeks and I'm trying to narrow down the candidates for our special dinner out for our second anniversary. I've been to Savannah before but never dined in the city at night.

Here are some of the places I'm considering: the Olde Pink House (in first place right now), Garibaldi's, Chart House, Elizabeth's or Bistro Savannah. We need to stay under the $30 per person mark, otherwise we'd try Gottlieb's since I hear they are fantastic.

We both love seafood and Italian, especially.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, guys, since many of you get down there more often than I do. Thank you in advance.

I assume your under $30pp target does not include wine, tax or service. I think you might be able to do a very nice meal at Bistro Savannah for $30pp - we enjoyed our time there. The food is primarily American though. I can't see eating at the Chart House as it is a chain restaurant. Garibaldi's would be in your price range and is Italian. Olde Pink House and Elizabeth are out of your price range, I think.

Yes, Craig, I meant without wine/tax/tip. I appreciate the suggestions. We'd love to spend more but money's a little tight since my husband just took the bar exam and isn't working until September.

We ate at Garibaldi's on our honeymoon and really enjoyed it.

Another possibility is to have dinner at one restaurant, then drinks/dessert at the Olde Pink House or Elizabeth's if the main courses are too pricey.

Happy Anniversary!
