Chicago GTG in December?
Input is welcomed by all.
How about one on December 10?
Some of us who seldom get downtown might get
some shopping in- plus see the Christmas window sights.
Calling swalter518, AAFrquentFlyer, Heather, chicagolori, exiled princess, jlm mi, Vittrad and tons of others.
I would LOVE to do tapas. Any suggestions!
Doing a search for rooms downtown and near Water Tower, I can get some REAL good ones right now. If I plan ahead -maybe I can make a 2 or 3 day Christmas shopping/ fun trip out of it.
If there are enough downtown workers among us, we might want to consider a weekday or after work on the Friday, Dec. 9.
I'll take off like Ferris Bueller.

I pretty much figured that it would have to be on the weekend.
Let's try to see how many can make it on Dec. 10.
And then we will see WHERE we can put us- depending on how many we are.
I know swalter518 likes Cafe Iberico. It would have to be somewhere noisy, I would think.
Trying for a daytime luncheon on a Saturday might be the best for winter.

Chicago in Dec???
What next...Death Valley in August?
I'll be back in one of my all time fave towns from Oct 6th thru the 12th for the Marathon so if anyone wants to GTG for a quick beverage of their choice, drop me a line.

Chicago in December is lovely, especially when you find yourself standing outside eating hot soup while snowflakes land on your head at the German Christmas Market during your lunch hour.
Now February is an entirely different matter.

You know, I was trying to figure out if you could possibly make it, swalter518. And knew the later, NOT the better for you.
Yes, we will do it in the daytime for sure. Night is more difficult for a lot of us old foggies anyway.
My birthday is Jan. 11. I bet your due date is close.

Ok, very good. I bet we are going to get some SOUTH siders. Oh MY!
Well let's keep this at the top this weekend and occasionally. I've written these down and will continue to do so.
We'll take a count by the end of the month for a ball park figure.
I will be so happy to meet all of you!
