Chicago for a weekend?

Hi, We are looking for a place to stay downtown Chicago that might be a suite or have extra sleeping areas. My sister and I will be taking our 5 girls and do not want them in a room by themselves. Any ideas?

Hi northerngal
I would think any adjoining room would be fine. We've done this many times with our family, you just leave the adjoining room doors open.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites and liked the location, kitchen, bedroom, etc. There is a big Jewel supermarket nearby. The hotel serves a complete breakfast and light meals on Monday-Thursday. Enjoy

I'm a big fan of the Homewood Suites in Chicago too. I believe they have a limited number 2 BR suites as well.

Hi, Thanks for the tips. Is the Homwood suites located near downtown? We are hoping to not have to drive around.

I just booked rooms and then we changed our plans. After checking them out we were going to be staying at the Homewood Suites they are located downtown at 40 E. Grand (you can look at it on Mapquest), their local number is (312) 644-2222. I like to talk to the people on-site rather than a national 800 number, because I think they're more helpful. There is also the Doubletree Guest Suites, right by Water Tower. Courtyard by Marriott on Ontario was willing to say they'd do an adjoining room. There's an Omni that is all suite. Have a great trip!
