Chicago downtown hotel

We are looking for a nice, midpriced hotel near Ford Theatre where we will be seeing The Producers. Two teens, two moms-suggestions of activities?

Ranaissance or Burnham are closest, but many hotels are within 1 mile. See

Teens are girls or boys?

Thanks for the tips on hotels. The teens are both boys and girls. Any activities, good restaurants teens might like?

My kids and grandkids, (15yrs and 9yrs) really liked the SeaDog architectual tour from Navy Pier. They not only go down the river with architectual information, but give you a speed boat ride on Lake Michigan. There is usually a band playing at the end of Navy Peir that the teens would like. Also recommend Ed Debreics (sp?)on, I believe, Ontario, 2 blocks from Hard Rock, for hamburgs. The wait staff make it a point to be rude. The teens will get a kick out of it. The Shedd Aquarium is also a favorite and they have a restaurant that faces Lake Michigan that we like to have lunch at.
