Chicago

I am going to Chicago on Thanksgiving weekend and it appears that all of the hotels near the magnificent mile are booked. Any suggestions on hotels for 1 night for under $150 and things to do?

There are rooms for less than $150 at the Palmer House and the Chicago Hilton for Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week. These are two classic hotels in the south half of downtown.

Saturday night gets expensive downtown, but the O'Hare area is wide open and mostly under $100 a night. You could stay at the airport Hilton and be right on top of the subway to the city.

The O'Hare idea is agreat one!

Inexpensive and the subway inside the airport will take you downtown for next to nothing.
