Islamarada in the Florida Keys.I need some information from those who have stayed or visited these 2 resorts. We are going in February.

I talked to the owner of a Marina in Islamorada and he said the Chesepeake was very nice.

They're both very nice, but I prefer Caribbean Resort. We stayed there a few months ago & loved it. The pool was voted the most beautiful in the Keys...it has the most lush foliage surrounding it...very serene. They are renovating the "older" side...the newer side is near the pool & more money but the different villas are really nice. They have their own beach & it was one of the most relaxing week-ends my husband & I spent in a long time. We will definitely go back there again. (One thing though, when I first came upon the property, I was ready to turn away & find another place...it's a very nondescript entrance, but once inside it's great.) Also near some great restaurants. Have a great time in our wonderful state!
