Arkansasnurse I'm so glad to hear that you'll be driving up Rt 13 and through the Chesapeake Bay tunnel & bridge. The Chesapeake Bay bridge that crosses from Annapolis to Kent Island is pretty high and the bridge authority has someone assigned to drive people across who are intimidated by it. I live in Annapolis and I know the bridge well.
If you do come up Rt 13 you'll find many great places to stop - if anyone in the van likes to fish - there's great flounder fishing at Wachapreague. And here's something I know you'll all love - some of the very, very best fried chicken can be bought right along that same area at a place called Tammy and Johnny's. You'll wish you could take the recipe home.
Thanks again for those great ideas you posted for us on our trip out to Tulsa, Ok and Arkansas.

Spoke with Mom, ordered a flyer on the bridge for both of us and decided to add a day to the trip to make sure we could 'do the bridge' plan to eat there just because we can...
Gekko, thank you for the wondernurse compliment, my former patients surely think so, they are distressed I don't do patient care anymore (I am just the boss now) Also, thanks for informing me the scarry is scary, it just looked to much like making fun of someone with scars spelled that way. So is it starry or stary? for a star filled night?
