Cheeca or Casa Morada

We have reservations at the Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada, Florida in November. There are so many mixed reviews on the Cheeca we were thinking of switching to the Casa Morada. Could anyone give me input on which is the better place to stay. We picked the bungalows becasue it was adult. We like quiet and relaxing but we like a place where there are things to do.

Haven't stayed at Casa Morada....but have stayed at Cheeca Lodge. Definitely lots to do...pools, kayaks, golf, tennis, fishing off their pier, snorkeling, etc....have stayed there spur of the moment on my way back from Key West...(but not ready to return to the real world yet), and usually get a good rate talking with the front desk. Not sure if it would be worth the prices they advertise on the web-site or other places...can't comment on the Bungalows...but they definitely look nice.

Thanks for your reply. Did you get to see the inside of the bugalows by any chance. I am trying to decide between bungalows and newly rennovated rooms.

Sorry, didn't get to see the bungaloes....the other rooms were sort of just standard hotel rooms...not worth the high price...but not bad for a last minute deal.
