Cheap Eats (good food) in Miami Beach area?

What restaurants would you recommend in the Miami Beach area at affordable prices?
Thank you in advance!

If you love pizza, I recommend Tutto Pizza. It's excellent!

Wolfie's Jewish Restaurant. Amazing menu with every conceivable Jewish Dish, large portions, great food and reasonable prices. My daughters would split a dinner because the portions are so big.

Check out www.chowhound.com . Go to the Florida board, and do a search on Miami Beach. Well worth your time.

As I said, go to www.chowhound.com . Go to the Florida board. If you're using Internet Explorer, do a Ctrl-F. In the search windows that opens up, type in Miami Beach. Then keep hitting "next" until you find something that looks interesting.

I live on Miami Beach. I would recommend AVOIDING Ocean Drive, except for News Cafe and Front Porch Cafe, which are both great for breakfast or fruit salads, lite meals. For Italian, Sport Cafe is terrific, 6th and Washington. Lincoln Rd has a ton of restaurants. Spris is the best pizza. For something a little different, Dab Haus is an awesome neighborhood German place on 9th and Alton. Big Pink on 2nd and Collins is a good casual local's place.

Just found a new one called the IceBox Cafe on Michigan Ave right off of Lincoln Rd. Excellent food, very casual surroundings.

Blue Door is a wonderful suggestion but is definitely not cheap! Joes Stone Crabs is an overpriced tourist trap only recommended for those on expense accounts. For great seafood a little off the beaten path, try these three places on the Miami River, just south of Downtown - Big Fish, Garcias, Joes.
