Who is generally the least expensive to rent from and is it better to pickup at the airport rather than the hotel?

We rented from Hertz. Picked the car up after 3:00 on a Satruday and returned before noon on Wed. Cost $102. And had to fill the tank. Hertz has a shuttle bus from the airport to their lot. Returned car to their lot and took the shuttle back to the airport. Drop off and pick up were very quick and easy--we also appreciated their excellent directions. We generally did our price research on-line and found this was the best we could do. If I remember correctly it was also less expensive to book on-line. Good luck.

No one company is always the least expensive.
It all depends on YOUR dates of rental AND the type of car you reserve.
You'll just have to check around and find out which has the best rates for your time and vehicle type.
