A good option is to check out deals with credit card companies. I've seen some great 2 for 1 coupons, free appetizers, etc., at the MasterCard site (provided by Entertainment.com) Two of you could use the coupon, the other order off the menu, and split the check 3 ways. An example of what I found around the corner from my house was a 2 for 1 coupon (up to $18 value) for a very nice restaurant. You can find the places near where you are staying by putting in the zip code. It will give you offers starting from closest and continuing out. I think you are limited in how many coupons you can print, and if you lose them, you cannot reprint them (bummer!) They also have expiration dates, so make sure they will be valid when you are visiting. You might find some good deals -- enjoy your visit to South Florida.

Andy, I realized the Italian in the Cove shopping center is called ANTONIO'S not Mario's. Also wanted to thank you all for the Brewzzi reco. We ate there the other night for the first time & it was fun-although it got quite noisy with kids. Probably going later would help.

Also wanted to mention Uncle Tai's, a very upscale chinese in The Boca Center where Big City is (not the Town Center but nearby) has an early bird I think.

Mclaurie--

I don't know what you ordered at Brewzzi's--but their PORK CHOPS are incredible and huge....

And their salmon is terrific...

Hamburgers with the crispy onion rings are an alltime favorite ( when I am not dieting)

and the huge dinner salads with meat added can easily feed 2 people...
( My parents go there at least 3 times a week for their salads and they share them!)

Keep those suggestions coming and thanks loads!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you are right, it is noisy- but if you eat outside ( which is great in Dec-Feb and March-- the only real noise you hear is the cars driving by...keeps the "kid level" down! LOL
