Charleston baby friendly restaurants

We'll be in Charleston in October with an 8 mo old. We'd love to try some of the fabulous restaurants I've read about but realize that not all are baby friendly. Can you recommend any good places for us to take in the local cuisine/seafood with the baby?

Lunchtime is always easier than dinner. When visiting Slightly North of Broad with kids, the kitchen sent a plate of fruit to the table for the kids to nibble on while we were waiting for our food; really thoughtful in my opinion.

swalter, except for maybe Penninsula Grille, there isn't a restaurant in town I would not take an 8 month old into.

SNOB would be perfect.

My only suggestion would be if you think the baby will be fussy, eat at 6PM otherwise, your baby will be welcome everywhere.

Poogans Porch has narrow hallways and stairs would be the only other thing I'd look at.

None of the restaurants want a screaming child. So if this should happen, and it does with even the most well behaved one, please do everyone a favor and take the baby outside until it settles down.

Other than that, and the brats that are allowed to run about the room, most restaurants are used to children.

We are well aware of proper etiquette in regard to taking our daughter outside if she acts up. We're older parents and have been on the receiving end of the screaming child and parents who do not take them away. Also, given that she goes to bed by 7, we're usually eating the early bird special when no one else is around.
