Restaurant suggestion near Patriot's Point, SC

Would like a restaurant suggestion near Patriot's Point, SC. Next week on our trip to SC, we will be taking several grandkids to tour the Yorktown one morning and Ft. Sumter at 1:30pm that afternoon. We'll need to get lunch in between. We are looking for local cuisine but nothing expensive and with choices for the grandkids.

Had a great lunch at Mustard Seed after visiting the Yorktown last year. Felt very local, our 8-year old had no problem finding things he liked and thought it was a good value for the quality of food.

At the Yorktown, we actually found the destroyer and sub more interesting to tour than the carrier (all are included in admission). The small screen movie shown in the destroyer is particularly compelling.

Page's Okra Grill on Coleman is popular, with something for everyone and outdoor seating.

I would avoid the restaurants along Shem Creek (RBs, Reds, Water's Edge, Vickery's). The views of the water are nice but the food tends to be mediocre at best.

If you have your grands in Charleston don't forget the Hunley and the Aquarium in Charleston.

You could have lunch in Charleston before the Sumter trip.

In spite of the downplay of Shem's Creek restaurants, eating on the waterfront IS fun and for a lunch, the food won't be terrible. Another place the kids might like is The Wreck--an old shipwreck, supposedly. Funny and fun.
