Channel islands Camping

I am thinking of flying into LAX on Jan 8 (thurs) and then renting camping gear at an REI store. On Friday head out on Island Packers boat with a Kayak. Not for sure whick Island we want to be on. Do I want to just stay on one island? We would stay there 3 nights. We would want to tidepool, hike, and possibly snorkel (no scuba). Has anyone done this.

Thanks, but yes I have read that already. Island Packers, Truth Aquatics, and an airplane company provide transporation to the islands.

Hillary Jane,

Is there some reason for the edufire link? I'm not sure what I am supposed to be looking at there.
