Changes at Radisson Barcelo Hotel in Washington DC
Since we were considering booking this hotel, I thought I should let readers know that per a guest's comment on Tripadvisor, this hotel is no longer a Radisson and the restaurant, bar, room service and pool are closed.
Of course, it would be best to check directly with the hotel to verify its status and closures.

Thanks for the heads up. I called them - starting July 20th they will no longer be affiliated with Radisson and will become: "The Dupont Circle Hotel". Expect the restaurant, bar, room service and pool to re-open shortly after the new owners take over on July 20.
In the meantime, due to the temporary lack of amenities, Radisson is offering rooms at the bargain basement rate of $99 - less than one-third the normal rate. Although, I would expect the service department to have "short timers syndrome".
