oh boy. I see both sides to this. My husband is on his cell CONSTANTLY. He owns his own business and the guys who work for him unfortunately must be babysat on every job (and jobs run on weekends and evenings as well). Sometimes they do such stupid things that he just gets excited and starts yelling, forgetting that he is in public. I think he is going to rupture something one day. Shushing him does not work. So, I usually try to apologize to the people around us who are being subjected to his tirades. I, on the other hand, rarely use my phone and tend to tune out others who do. BOSE headphones are worth every single penny of the close to $300 bucks they cost. I never fly without them.

On 9/11 the planes were flying at a relatively low altitude...
