Cedar Point - things to do!
Hi, my family will be staying at castaway bay for 3 nights in late June. I'm sure the smaller ones will enjoy the indoor water park most days. We have 2 teenagers that will want to spend much of their time at cedar point. Does anyone know what the lines are like mid week in the summer? Also, I heard there is a place my mom can do some gambling while we are there. Is that very far from cedar point? Thanks!

Cedar Point only has two types of lines: long and longer. On weekdays they'll be the better of the two. As far as gambling, I think you have to go up north to Detroit or Canada for that. Nothing close to Cedar Point.

Here's a note from the Cedar Point website:
Cedar Point has a free ride reservation service at Millennium Force, Mantis, Raptor, Top Thrill Dragster, Magnum XL-200 and Wicked Twister. The system, which uses hand stamps, is available only to a limited number of guests each day.

We have season passes and my teens use this system all the time. Cuts down on waiting and gives you time to enjoy the other rides. Midweek is better than weekends. Evenings are usually less crowded.
