cedar point hotels

is the breakers the only hotel that is walking distance to cedar point amusement park?
Is it worth the money to stay there as compared to a hotel off site?

thanks

Only the Sand Castle which is also Cedar Point owned. We stayed there two years ago and it was very nice. Newer and quieter than Breakers but still right in the park.

Cedar Point is the best amusement park in the world. Not only my opinion but also Roller Coaster Magazine. You'll have a great time.

We stayed at the Breakers this year because it was just the 2 of us. We had a room with a Queen-sized bed in the older section of the hotel. It was a little over $100 a night, but the Breakers Express (where we usually stay) would have cost us almost that much, and parking is free when you stay at the Breakers, so it came out about even I think. Plus, being close to the park allowed us to go back to the room when we forgot things, or just to put our feet up and have a cold drink and a snack without spending a fortune. Off-site hotels don't give you early entry into the park. Entering from the back of the park, we were able to ride Millenium Force twice without waiting in line at all. Saved us a BIG chunk of time we would otherwise have spent standing in line.
