We are staying in Radio City Apartments at the end of July & my wife wanted to buy CBGB T shirts. I have seeb them advertised in the UK for £22 - £28 (over $40) but in US they average $15. Can anyone confirm if they are freely available or are they only sold in specific shops - if so which shop & would it need to be ordered necessitating a return trip to that area of New York.

Unfortunately buying on line does not always get you the right size or the expected colour. My wife prefers to see what she is buying rather than hope for the best, plus we prefer not to put our credit card details on the net.

On their website http://www.cbgb.com/index.html it says "CBGB @ 315 Bowery has closed. Our retail shop and offices are now located at 19-23 St. Marks Place, NYC" and there's a link to a map.
